In October the band were honoured with the 2025 Woody Guthrie Prize and at the awards ceremony in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bono and Edge performed a surprise acoustic set and shared an extended conversation with producer and musician T Bone Burnett.
The live performance from the night is now available on YouTube including Running to Stand Still, Sunday Bloody Sunday, One, Pride (In the Name of Love) - with a snippet of Guthrie's Jesus Christ - and Yahweh.
Many thanks to The Edge for this amazing version of "One." I think this is the best live version after Zoo TV and PopMart. I hope you surprise us with new sounds soon.

Congratulations
It's so beautiful to listen to this heartfelt and intimate performance of Bono and The Edge. What a great selection of U2's classics. I love listening to the live version of Yahweh. With Bono's falsetto voice especially the intro of Sunday Bloody Sunday is haunting. I enjoy hearing Bono's story about the band's first performance in Cain's Ballroom in 1981. Congratulations on this well-deserved prize, which is a great success for the band in 2025. I hope to hear some new music from U2 soon. Happy New Year!
